Trainer, mentor offers inside look to Morgan's game

Pete Strobl knew Vaughn Morgan was a gifted athlete from the start. Strobl first saw Morgan during an AAU game, where the 6-foot-6, 235-pound Pittsburgh native naturally stood out.
But it wasn't until Strobl got to work up close with Morgan that he realized just how athletic the newest Robert Morris commit is. Fresh off a decade long stint playing and coaching overseas after a college career at Niagara, Strobl - no slouch himself at 6-foot-9 - is now a trainer and coach in the Pittsburgh area. Morgan sought him out, as many players do, and the two started working together.
On that first day, Morgan showed Strobl just how athletic he was when he jumped and hit his head on the rim.
