I might as well stop making predictions because every time I've made one in RMU's favor, it's gone the opposite way!
The Colonials got dominated on the glass, losing the rebounding battle to the Terriers 51-27. Antonio Jeffer led the way for St. Francis, corralling 14 rebounds and chipping in with 10 points. Yunus Hopkinson and Tyreke Jewell also scored 10 points a piece, as the Terriers defeated Robert Morris 56-49 on Saturday evening. Both teams shot poorly from the field, as this was your typical bad-shooting, low scoring game for two NEC teams.

After playing a great game against LIU, Robert Morris took a step back with this loss. I guess this team really is inconsistent. I thought this team was starting to come together (and it still may very well be) but from the naked eye, their doesn't appear to be any chemistry between anybody. With such a young team, guys are probably getting frustrated with each other. Rodney Pryor scored 14 points and Elijah Minnie added 11 for the Colonials, but missed free throws down the stretch cost this team a chance to tie the game. Billy Giles missed a few big shots from the charity-stripe, but even with the Colonials' free-throw struggles, they still had a chance to tie with under 30 seconds left. Minnie missed a step-back three pointer (down 3), a shot we have been accustomed to seeing him make. But hey, sometimes they fall and sometimes they don't. That's basketball.
Kavon Stewart had 9 points and 5 assists, but didn't shoot the ball particularly well, only going 4-15 from the field and 1/4 from the free-throw line. If the Colonials had made their free-throws, they probably would have put themselves in a better position to win. The Colonials travel home and have a few day break before playing Mount. St. Mary's on the 14th.
